Thanks for dropping by! Grab a cup of coffee (or if you’re like me, maybe a pot of coffee), and take a glance at my site.
I named this site “Ingrid Wonders” because that’s exactly what I do.
All. The. Time.
You may find my areas of interest mutually engaging; you may not. That’s the beauty of the internet. You can just scroll on by…. Or come back later if you choose.
I am autistic, and I am also recovering from cPTSD.
I am most fundamentally Ingrid, and represent only myself on this website. You can learn from me, and perhaps think about some things that you didn’t consider before.
I deconstruct and reconstruct ideas in order to understand them, so you may occasionally find “over-inclusive thinking” on this site. You’ve been warned. 😉
It would be really cool if the site “Ingrid Wonders” leads you to think about new things, or certain ideas in a different way than you did before.
In addition to blog posts with a social justice bent, you will also find poetry, short stories, and other odds and ends. Take a look around and explore! (Wandering is fun!)
Speaking of wandering, you may have noticed from my tagline that I’m a Mother, Protector, and Wanderer, in addition to being a Wonderer.
My kids are the most awesome people I know, although I’m sure you’re pretty great too. You won’t find any photos of my kids on this site, unless with their generous permission. As their Mother, I am a Protector of their rights to make that choice for themselves.
I am also a Wanderer. I go off in different directions in my life, periodically. So if this site goes quiet once in awhile, that’s exactly what I’ve done. I’ve wandered off into a different space. Physically or mentally and emotionally. Or all of these things.
That is all. Now fill up your coffee cup and get comfy. Time to do some reading.
And hopefully some Wondering of your own….
